I'm also down to help out as much as last year or more... As much as needed.
You're on the list man. Definitely be a more organized team next year. I'll put together a few meetings as things roll out to get things organized.

I'm not sure if Daniel is going to want to be involved or not but this is his baby so he's always welcome in my book.

I've suggested it before but
History Park – History San Jose

They have several car shows a year. It's a fenced site so it's easy to secure the ticket entrance. Tons of parking with the Happy Hollow and Kelley Park lots
Plus there's already "stuff" to do if you need a break from the show for a few min's

I've suggested it too. I go to the strangers show every year.

That's one of the lots. There's also a smaller lot just to the left of where you took that... gated in. It'll hold "car show" and vendors.

But what I had in mind doing what the strangers do... they use the actual park. I think they put a car cap at 400. So we could do prepays for entrance and cap it at 400. Anyone that wants to show up in a non subaru or doesn't prepay is at risk of not being let in and having to park in the overflow lots.

Do a google search of Strangers Show Kelley Park. It's a bad *** show.

Inside they have a couple HUGE grills with smokers attached to them. There's an ice cream shop already in there and you can have a hot dog vendor set up and probably a food truck. I know they've done that in the past.

I'll have to contact Scotty and see if he can give me the low down. We shared a shop with him for a while.

It would be a HUGE commitment and we'd have to push the crap out of this event as a community. Definitely the next level to anything that's been done in the past.

I'm still thinking fremont is the number 1 spot right now. It's central and easy to get to. As long as we can avoid all the drama and cop fear it'll be fine.

It's big. One lot. Easy for vendors. Easy for food. Etc.
