If you didn't like the rabbit stew, it was not made right. A good rabbit stew will have a beef like quality, but with a slightly more tender, and sweet taste.

ditto can be said for tree squirrels,which i prefer.

squirrel does taste better and its because of diet. they have the option of eating better tasting items (flowers, fruit, nuts on the tree) whereas rabbits are limited to root veggies, grass, and whatever is rotting on the ground.
