Has anyone here built a CA legal AR15 ? I am looking into it and want to know what you went with and the price it costs. PM me if you can help, I am looking into CMMG and Rock River Arms so far.

You sir need to call Bay Area Gun Vault - Gun Shop with Guns for Sale, San Francisco CA, San Jose CA
They do CA legal AR's all day long.
Calguns.net has a ton of info

You can also try Metal Dog Tactical in San Jose, great bunch of people and great customer service. They've got lots of magpul goodies in there. As stated above, Calguns is a good forum to get some help.

Waiting for this to arrive in 4-6 weeks. LMT Defender completed lower, now onto a nice upper and other goodies. hit me up with suggestions.

Choosing an upper really depends on what you plan on doing with the carbine. But since you have an LMT lower, why not just get an LMT upper to go with it? A 16" LMT M4 upper would make a great all around carbine.

I ended up going with a 16" LMT MRP Gas Piston upper, I will post pics Tuesday night when I put it all together

But seriously, each one of those STG-44's is worth a fortune. Although finding ammo for them would be a challenge.
