otherwise, im gonna be gettin faded and hoping to hit up my buddys homegirls house who happens to be a gogo dancer and roomies with like 3 other ta-hoes

I know I'm chiming in late here (just came across this thread) but was wondering, did anyone call Kirkwood and ask about discounts and such? The official car of Kirkwood being subie, you'd think that they'd like to make some sort of publicity thing out of this if we had a large enough group going. I'm pretty sure they'd do a minimum of 10% but maybe we'd be surprised. If anyone has the gift of gab they should put a call in.

Word. I think I might still try and set up a trip in february with a giant cabin. Be like 15-20 people splitting like $2000 for like 3 nights. I want to find one of those big giant cabins with a hot tub, pool table, game room, etc.
And I'm talking with the block right now for a possible hotel take over.
I don't really see the fun in going to a regular hotel that's gonna call the cops on us for being noisy. We'd all be seperated. We're not getting a really killer block of rooms rate. No hook ups on lift tickets. Etc. Sounds like it'll be a good time but if I want to hang out with a hand ful of guys (what you could get in one room or two joined rooms) I'd rather do it at my place and save the dough. Talking $600 on this trip without the liquor tab and bail money.
sorry to be a pooper. Have fun guys.

hotels really aren't the place to party. people are there to sleep, and be in comfort in their rooms, which is something a hotel would enforce to ensure quality comfort for their customers.
for me, i'm really only in my room to shower and sleep. the other 90% of the time I'll be out in the snow, or hanging outside with people (restaraunt or something). so I see no point in spending that much money to be in my room for a quick shower and some sleep.
i really want to go up to the snow if i'm able to this season, but at a low hotel cost. i just want to play around in the snow, if possible go snowboarding, and maybe go to a casino for a little bit.

Seriously.
That's my concern. A regular hotel not really the place for that was my point.
Hell we had a car show over the summer and I think there were less than 15 of us in the hotel and we damn near got arrested and we were IN OUR ROOMS most of the time.
Every i-club drive I've ever gone on had an accident and those were in the dry. You're talking about 20 plus cars going to the SNOW here. The hotel parking lot will never be the same.
A cabin can be regulated and is more likely to be respected. Hotels are easy to excuse thrashing. A hotel that's set up to party is the same way.
just my thoughts.
But this is not my deal so party on fellas.

Well I'm not going to be hanging out with people who cause problems and whatnot
I personally just want to go in the snow, and if a few nice cool people are around, then that's fine enough for me
I didn't actually say I was going to go in my first post in this thread, but I got added to the list. I've been stuck at home for months, and it's going to take a while to recover from my illness. Hopefully I'll make it to the snow this season. go down on tubes, or possibly get a snowboard for my yakima rack. I don't care what it is, I just want to go to the snow since it's been 15~ years for me.
