AUDT: Who wants to help do a rear lateral link tutorial?

Hi all.

I was wondering who wants to help me to do a rear lateral link install tutorial for the how-to section. I have the rear lateral links and I am planning to install them one of the weekends I am in the bay.

Anyone?

TIA.

It's only six bolts...

unless you count the endlinks, then it's eight.

I have front and rear though. So... 8. 10 including the endlinks.

No, still only 6 and 8 - unless the L is drastically different from the WRX and STi. The outboard bolt that goes through the hub holds in both lateral links.

Oh... you are right. Because I double counted those crazy long bolts.

I did not... It is really straight forward. It's helpful to have an impact wrench, a torque wrench that goes to 150 ft-lbs, extensions, and PB Blaster. Pretty straight forward. Just requires a lot of leverage.

Yeah. It's more or less the same. I think the torque specs may be a little different. I had access to a repair manual and I think it is pretty close.

For the WRX, it's:

74ft/lbs for the inner bolts at rear crossmember.
100ft/lbs for the long outer bolt.
