If this is really not an April fools joke then I'm shocked, but more confused as to why you need to leave BAIC just because you sold your L?
Do you cease to be friends with BAIC members now we don't have the same car type?
I'll see you at the next AutoX, you can show me your new EVO

In regards to an EVO, I almost bought an EVO IX... I was soooo close to sealing a deal on a really nice EVO IX with low miles, color I wanted, HIDs and other features that other models dont come with... Then at the last second I found an STi with same miles (11k) for less money then the EVO... I had to take it for a ride at least before I made the big decision... Spent 30mins driving the STi and thats when everything changed... The STi just blew me away, much more then the EVO did... Besides that, it was a Subie, the car that I was VERY familiar with, the car that I had connections with if I needed work done, etc.
Subie:
1. Faster acceleration then the EVO
2. Better ride then the EVO
3. Better reliability then an EVO
4. Familiarization of the STi
5. Friendly connections of the STi
6. We have a much better and closer community then EVOs.
7. The Boxer rumble which is quite possibly one of the best exhaust notes ever!
EVO:
1. A little faster around a lap stock vs stock due to better suspension (can easily be fixed so that the subie is faster)
2. Something different, a change, something fresh
Keep in mind, that's my assessment based off my own experience. The EVO is a GREAT car, I just like my 07 STi more. With the STi's solid 6speed it's easy to get high horse power numbers without having to worry about breaking a tranny... Have you ever ridden in a high hp STi? If you haven't, you need to... it will change your mind.
