i'd be kind of interested, but im in the "no track time evar" group. part of what's keeping me from hitting the track is the intimidation of making a fool of myself. so if it's noobie friendly, then it's all the better!

keep in mind that Laguna Seca has a low db limit.

I am down for one at Thunderhill, but cant run at Laguna due to my exhaust

I'm down for one especially with Bonnie at Team Racing. She hosts great events.

Rather prefer something farther down the line though. Can we book a track event ourselves if we have enough people to accomodate the cost and find a spot? I vote T-hill for the track.

Yeah. Whatever works for you guys. Keep in mind that this thread is to help us decide and to choose a day that would work for us Subaru peeps. I think THill will be the best. Try to accommodate everyone.

I'd prefer to do Thunder Hill for my first track day...and maybe sneak onto the rallyX course.

Or have a rallyX the same day! then id rather do that!

Sounds good preferably the cheaper for all of us and closer with no decibel limit. We are down to this.

Yeah. I am not really a planning type, but I would really like to participate in an event with all you I-Club peeps. It'll be pretty fun. THill is a drive though. Infineon and Laguna Seca, are... unforgiving, or so I hear. Buttonwillow is... just too far. I think our best chances are to just vote on a day that works for most of us and go for it. Blue Blurr was nice enough to put together a list of events for the year.

It is a little too late to play one within the next few months. At least formally anyways. I would probably avoid summer, just because it is going to be cooking out there.

How about September/October/November/December?

Sept 12 Thunderhill – TMR (Friday)
Sept 17-19 Thunderhill – HOD (W-F)
Sept 26 Thunderhill -- NCRC (Friday)
Sept 27-28 Thunderhill – Green Flag (Sat. and Sunday)
Oct 3 Thunderhill – TMR (Friday, also day before NCE Hypermeet II)
Oct 9 Thunderhill – YPTD (Thursday)
Oct 17 Thunderhill – UnlimitedLaps (Friday)
Oct 18-19 Thunderhill – Shelby Club (Sat. and Sunday)
Oct 29-30 Thunderhill – HOD (Wed. and Thursday)
Nov 7-8 Thunderhill – TMR (Friday and Saturday)
Nov 15-16 Thunderhill – HOD (Saturday and Sunday)
Dec 13-14 Thunderhill – HOD (Saturday and Sunday)

Those are some possible dates at the end of the year.

I'd say the best day that will work for the most of us is November 15th or 16th or December 13th or 14th.

Blue blurr, can you make a suggestion? I think the key to choosing the event will be to try to accommodate all skill levels as well as costs.

You know Kyle, that might be a good idea. I'll send her off an email or PM or something. A little later though.
