Looks like union city will be getting a sonic franchise...
If you know the arby's on mission blvd, that's where I saw the new structures being built...

Yea, this was a rumor since last year, but it's cool that earlier this year, they started building it. I think I'll visit it often, but after a while, the novelty of eating at the place (other than getting my sugary Cherry Limeade fix) will wear off. This happened with having an In-n-Out in Union City. It was cool the first year, but after a while, I just don't really crave that place anymore. They even opened one by my house now, I've only been there 2-3 times in the past year.
Now a Chik-Fli-A. That's another place I'd love to have.

I mean I would be just as satisfied with KFC and Eggo Waffles
Hard Knocks in SF on Clement I would say is comparable to Roscoe's.. IIRC... same crunchy fried consistency tho I do believe Roscoe's chicken was marginally juicier

Did you eat it with the Maple Syrup or just the Chicken by itself?
When I ate at the one down at 5006 West Pico Blvd (Near La Brea). The Chicken was very moist, hot and crispy. The gravy was okay, but the Maple Syrup was delicious and the waffles were like bread. Eggo Waffles do not compare at all to their waffles IMO.

^^ Yes, thats de-de-de-defeinitly cool !!!
I had my waffles with the syrup and chicken was primarily by itself but of course some syrup spilled over. And now that I think about it... I really did like the gravy they offered, used it as a dipping sauce vs. drenching the chicken with it.
haha, Maybe me comparing Roscoe's waffles to Eggo waffles was a bit far extreme now that I think about it.
It definitely wasn't a bad meal but, I just failed to see the reason why people go crazy over Roscoe's. Maybe my Roscoe's experience would have changed my life if I ordered someone else.

Haven't had roscoe's in years but Hard Knox in sf is damn good. I've been craving their 2 pc chicken meal with a double order of mac and cheese and their fresh lemonade.

+1 on the chick fil-a. Everytime my sister comes back home from Riverside, I ask her to grab me their nuggets/popcorn chicken things.
