ATTN: Fri Nite DCKK/Pho Meet Crowd...SORRY!!
Hey all,
Well, it's almost midnight, and I still haven't eaten dinner yet (read on for details). But I just wanted to apologize to Shadowcat and the others that showed up for the DCKK/Pho Meet tonight (Fri, 4/4).
On the way over from DCKK to the Pho place in Westlake, I received a call from my friend, who ran out of gas in downtown SF. She was kinda freaked out because her car died in the middle of the street, so I had to cut out right after everyone else parked.
It was a long/interesting night. After racing over to Kragen, buying a gas can, filling it up @ Chevron, and then tearing off downtown, I arrived to discover that some passerby had already helped my friend. I guess there still are good samaritans in this world, but the guy wasn't totally a saint.....my friend said he hit on her after helping her get some gas.
Oh well, at least everything got taken care of.
Anyways, I apologize for cutting out. I didn't want y'all to think I was being a jerk or anti-social, but I hope everyone had a good time. Well, gonna head out and get some late night grub.

Cool, thanks for understanding. I was trying to roll down my window as I was leaving to explain, but I guess no one heard. I just wanted to get downtown and help my friend out before she got even more frantic. Bah, the things girls make ya do sometimes!?
