Have you ever had XTC Tea? Supposed to be something like 8x Redbull. Has warnings all over it too. If I drink one I start spazzing out, running into walls and saying things like "ACK" and stuff. Nuts. My friend orders it from WA state somewhere by the case. Comes with those caffienated chocolates and stuff.
Anyway, I like the comic strip idea, and the base colors idea - if you can work a simple graphic in while also using the alunimum as a color, that would be cool...

Man, those are fun projects. By any chance can you hook me up with some of the measurements for those 16 oz cans? I'd love to design one and add it to my portfolio cuz I need more package design type stuffs. LOL.
Normally energetic and bright colors dominating the layout of the can usually gets the most attention. Then a recognizable logo that's unique and not overly done. I normally don't like a whole lot going on. I guess that's why I liked the minimalist approach when Safeway redesigned their soda bottles and cans. It pops out in the world of overly designed packages.

Bingo!!!! A titanium can in the shape of a bullet with a naked women on it. It could be filled with dirty dish water and I'd buy it. Maybe you could just add guarine and some other stuff to Jessica Albas bath water and bottle that. It'd sell like hot cakes.

I buy redbull for 3 reasons.
1) Lots of it is made in The Netherlands (I'm Dutch)
2) It's distributed in Santa Monica, CA (I live in Cali.. duh?)
3) It's major sponsor of the only american f1 driver (even though he sucks)
