Ok, so there are clearly soccer fans on here. Why the hell dont you guys come to Quakes games?

It would be a combination of my two obcessions, the Quakes and my Subie.

And before you talk about the quality of MLS... How do you expect it to get better if you wont support it.

Section 101 at Buck Shaw is easily the best sporting experence in the Bay Area.

They are playing in Santa Clara this weekend. Ohh and screw Houston, we have a new team now.

I can get you tickets for $11, but I wouldnt reccomend cheering the Dynamo in this section.

I have only been to one MLS game, it was Quakes vs whoever it was that Luther Mathahus (Spelling) played a season or part of for I think a NY team a few years ago.

I would be up for going to a Quakes game.

I get a free pass to the quakes games for being a college coach and I still don't go... they need to do some tranferring and get some quality players back.

I have to confess that the game I did watch was about on par with the level played in the semi pro ranks back home. I could have just as easily been sat watching a Conference side albeit with out the pace or furiosity of challenges.

There were a lot more fans than there are at my local conference teams ground though.

You clearly have not been paying attention, they are on an 8 game unbeaten streak. The brought in 4 quality players at the begining of the transfer window.

Huckerby is quality, 7 games 4 goals, 4 assists.

Its no excuse not to go. I hate it when people claim to be a football fan. Of course when you ask you find that they all "support" one of the big European teams. When the hell are you actuall going to get to see them play?

If you really love the sport you would support your local team, regardless of how poor they were. Again, the only way it is going to get better is if actual football fans support MLS. Its simple, you spend money, profits go up and better talent comes in. (Disclaimer: rant not directed and anyone specific)

Yea I agree to a extent, I fall into the catergory of supporting one of the European teams (Arsenal) but I do actually go to games when I get home and when I lived their I was able to attend a lot of games.

I don't really enjoy watching MLS games although have watched a couple on TV, as I said before I would be up for catching a Quakes game again perhaps we could do a I-Club soccer fan meet or something.
