the fact of the matter is that your statement is false.
Think what you want Tim...think that you have some power over the management...but I'm not into coddling you with a positive vibe. I'm confronting you with reality.

They will NEVER accept your proposal. Bringing your gathering to their attention will simply get you banned faster. Their liability increases dramatically once they "officically" approve of the gathering. Not to mention frightening/intimidating/endangering other customers, and attracting the ricers.

Unless someone is personally friends with the management, I would strongly advise AGAINST approaching them. Enjoy it while it lasts.

to life being unfair, and don't call me captain!

"CITIZENS ARREST"

anywhere you go this is a problem...

stay at UCKK ....

nothing against Christian , but I leave and dont attend all the time because of silly stunts that just attracts attention. E brakes are really impressive.. lol...

I have way too many stuff that can be looked and ticketed on the car that I drive there.

IIRC, The meet first started back in 2000 when some vendors here wanted to drop off parts to our local customers and it then got transformed into a weekly meet thing. A good thing if you ask me! I have only missed a few meet but Im usually there!

btw, I come from Oakland as well... We have some regulars coming from North Bay as far as San Rafael and Novato. Its all about dedication and attitude!

Unless you want to open yourself up to the liability of a lawsuit, you rarely want to ever try to put someone under "citizens arrest".

Just like police officers, if you place someone under citizens arrest, you'd better know the law at least as well as a cop, OTW you could be guilty of false arrest and/or false imprisonment, etc.

just videotape it, with a accurate date-stamp, make sure you get the plate, driver's face, and call the cops ASAP. Then make sure you tell the management what you did, too.

I've had my video camera with me during a few meets, maybe I should bring it more often and keep it out just in case anyone tries to pull anything stupid.

believe it or now, it's only been just over a year. Started in like March/April 2002 when SD was gonna meet up with some customers for dropping off wheels and other things.

i will make sure to tell "miller dance" aka Christian to not do anything stupid when he comes. not that he will listen, but i might as well try, he does it everywhere, so it might be kind of hard for him. haha

oh well, i think it would be great to see daniel yank him out of his car and " step on his neck"
