Sounds like both choices are tough considering your baby is due soon. Try the 3-day on site facility since it will meet your needs financially and give you some time to spend with your lady. Maybe there are other oppurtunities floating around out there that could meet both time and finances? Its a tricky balance with family and finances and its not always easy to choose, but the 3 day on site gig sounds like it will pay, provide benefits and require 'less' time, what do you got to lose?

But spending three days away is tough on your wife too because she might not be able to keep her job (if she currently has one) or you might have to end up hiring a day care person three days a week or full time even.

I think I will go with the 1st job that offer, 7days a week and only take up 3 days of it....so you will get 4 days with your wife, also...I'm sure you can get a day or two off if you wife is due. Let them know ahead, I'm sure that they won't be an @$$ when it comes to that...u know what I'm saying?
One important thing is, paying off the bill is a serious thing...at least you won't have a hard time to live in the bay area while u having a kid, cause having a kid is tough....
