I've had the same prob on my GM knuckle. Give an extractor a shot first, however in my case it broke off inside the bolt I was trying to get out... Or just drill it out completely and use a bolt with a locking nut on the other side, completely bypassing the threads in the knuckle.

I wish you'd have contacted me - I had to remove those very bolts when I installed a steering rack and a bump-steer kit in my Forester. Definitely get an extractor kit, and use some PB blaster lubricant. If you have to do the other side, just remember to take the 14 off first and pull the ball joint out. It's easier that way.

Exactly what I was thinking off . Just in case I screw up the threads and it easier to find a generic bolt and nut.

This was what I ended up doing and it came out really easy.
Currently when I have time off from work I have been "PB"ing the broken half. Thankfully it was only the passenger side wheel bearing.

if theres any part of the bolt you can get to... like whats sticking out some shoot it with penetrating oil, let it sit, shoot it again then tap on it. tap in the direction the bolt comes out. and continue to shoot oil on it... happened with my downpipe and i even broke off the extracting bolts off...
