Anyone work at an electronics/computer store?
I need to buy a good amount of networking stuff and just looking to see if anyone works at a store and could hook me up with some deals.
Send me a PM or reply to this thread if you can. One of the things I need is a couple Apple AirPort Extremes as well as a firewall and about 15-20 port switch.

haha I just quit frys, that place is evil! anyway networking cables and usb cables they get for dirt cheap and resale to customers for like $20-$30 and they get it for $1-75 cents. However mac items you cant really get a discount on because they usually get it at cost. If you posted this 3 days ago ill let you use all my discounts.

list your budget, and list your project goal. I'll tell you if it is possible.
free tip: if you are trying to save money then buying Apple AirPorts is not the way to go. Get a couple Linksys WRT54GL router/APs(~$110 for 2 from amazon), load DD-WRT(free), setup WDS between them, and BAM! there is your wireless network, firewall, and router. Get a couple of linksys
switches or Cisco switches and call it a day.
