Anyone watching the history of video games on CNBC right now?

Channel 58 on Comcast right now (CNBC) is airing the history of video games, a documentary of video games from the beginning to the modern time.

If you're into video games, this is def a cool show to see! I develop video games for a living so it's GREAT to see how the process has changed so drastically from when pong was made (by parolees and drug addicts btw) to our modern games.

Check it out if you can! Its on right now and Im sure it will re-run so TIVO it if you can! I know we have a lot of video game nuts here that would enjoy this greatly!

BTW, the name of the documentary is "GAME ON".

Dude, this show friggin ROCKS!!!

Great little facts that you'll love to know... Like how Donkey Kong got it's name (due to the limited English of it's lead designer who wanted to name the game "Dumb Gorilla", and heard from someone who spoke English say that "Donkey" meant dumb, and "Kong" is very close to gorilla in Japanese, and thus the name Donkey Kong which was originally intended to be "Dumb Gorilla").

Next up after the commercial is about how Mario Bros saved the video game industry after it took a HUGE plummet with HORRIBLE games such as "ET" and other games that were produced without a single original thought and produced faster than a hamburger at the golden arches.

Really great documentary for you guys that like documentaries and video games! TUNE IN!

And while you're at it, go order some Domino's pizza and they will deliver it in 30 mins or less.
