If you don't know what shuttle runs are, you get a truck, everyone packs in, bikes in back, one person drives up, drops everyone off, goes back down to the base and waits for them to return. Then the next person has to drive up, and so on until everyone has taken a turn driving.
There are some decent trails around that are perfect for this sort of thing. I know a couple on Mt Hamilton, there's the Hayward Plunge, and I'm sure you guys know a whole lot more.
I'm back on my bike now (After my broken forearm injury last year, now my arm is made of titanium rods, lol), but I'm taking it pretty easy to get into the groove of things.
Who's down?

This is my all around bike... Downhill bike is out of commission.
Sorry for the large pic, it's all I could find online. BTW, this is not my exact bike, just the same model and mine is bright green.

I have a ****ty 2006 TREK 3900 hardtail with some upgraded componentry.
And I kid you not, it is a "backyard parts special". Just like the Volkswagen Golf Harlequin, it's got a variety of parts.
But here's the bottom line: Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur, Shimano Deore front derailleur, Shimano Alivio dual-control levers, completely worn-out Bontrager Jones ACX tires.
It looks "ghetto" as ****, but it'll get around somehow.

Bah since everyone else has DH/freeride bikes I'll just tell you guys to have fun.
It would be nice if someone will record the ride, I'm curious what trails are up in Mt. Hamilton.
