Anyone play with Nitro/Electric r/c cars?

hey guys, did a quick search and didnt see anything about r/c's here. Does anyone in the south bay play with r/c's? Im looking about getting back into it and havent used my Serpent nitro car in a good 3-4 years and just picked up a used traxxas 3.3 t-maxx and a traxxas 4-tec 2.5 because serpent parts are getting harder to find. If you guys want to set up a meet at a local hobby shop or at some empty parking lot that also had like a dirt area i think it would be pretty fun. I haven't started any of the cars yet so if anyone wants to lend a hand and use some of my gear i dont mind but just dont break them =]

I currently have:
Serpent Impulse on road nitro r/c
Traxxas t-maxx 3.3 truck
Traxxas 4tec 2.5 on road r/c
Starter box for the serpent impulse
and a full rolling serpent impulse for spare parts.
All the roller needs is a motor and electronics.

Dude Anthony, you bought some ooooold cars.

For parts check out www.amainhobbies.com They're one of the biggest hobby retailers and have all your Serpent stuff. They're in Chico so it's about two day shipping.

I run at NorCal Hobbies in Union City. $10 a full day, and you can use the outdoor on road track, 1/10th off road, or 1/8 offroad. I might sell my 1/8 nitro buggy set up to go 1/5 GAS!

Yea its an onroad but its a 1/10 scale. And carl I didn't really buy it but I traded some old used parts for them so I figured I got the better end of the stick.

I had a 1/6 scale Kyosho Inferno GT Nissan 350z nitro powered on road car. Sold it last year though

That thing was so awesome. AWD, 2 speed automatic transmission, vented disc brake. Insanely fast and it was massive.

I have a serpent impulse also. I think its missing a few pieces from being fulling functional. I have not worked on it in a long time.

I used to race at the hobby shop on Camden and Union. I need to replace the front end of my NTC3 since I had a bad accident.

We can meet up when its sunny. I have cones that we can make a track with.
