Anyone own a DeltaDash? I'm in Need. . .

I don't have a DeltaDash and I need to find out some info on this ECU I have (that I think is JDM). I've got it hooked up in the car and it's running, but not well. Just need to find out as much info about it as I can.

Would anyone be willing to spare a couple of hours to plug in to my car with their DeltaDash?

Thanks
JD

JD,

Delta Dash comes with a hardware key that is vehicle type specific. The software license is also vehicle type specific. Because of this, a Delta Dash that was purchased for a USDM WRX will only work with a USDM WRX.

I've got Delta Dash, and you're welcome to try, but I'm pretty sure it won't work on the JDM ECU.

From the DeltaDash product page:

Licensing Options
The product is licensed on a professional user or enthusiast basis. This is intended to appeal to Subaru dealers/tuners and enthusiasts respectively, the enthusiast version being available at a substantial discount to non-profit making users.

Enthusiast Licensing
DeltaDash is available to car enthusiast to use to test and diagnose their own car. The software will work with up to 3 different ECU versions. This allows use on, for example, two cars owned by the enthusiast, plus one car owned by a friend. The software will remember the first 3 cars with which it has been used, and this will form the 3 car license for the product. All software feature updates and enhancements will be available free of charge as a download from the EcuTek web site.

Professional Licensing
This allows access to every ECU type that DeltaDash supports - this means all Subaru vehicles EcuTek have analysed that adhere to the currently employed diagnostic protocol. When purchasing the professional license, you will be entitled to all feature updates and enhancements free of charge from the EcuTek web site. You will also be able to access any new car models added to the product within a year of purchase.
You probably have the Enthusiast version. So whatcha doing this evening?

I won't be back from the Bay Area until late tonight (like 1am). I'm off Friday and I'll be home most of the weekend.

Let me know.
