Anyone know where to buy a cheap battery?

The one in my E30 is completely discharged. No amount of driving will charge it. I know my alternator works, so it's not that. And weight isnt an issue since it's my dd. Anyone got any hookups?

I don't have any hookups, but if you get one off craigslist they can be super duper cheap. Bring your own tester too so you know that it still holds a charge..other than that, I am of no help lol.

I have a battery in my garage that you're welcome to come take if you'd like. I know it needs to be jump started but I don't know if it still can be charged. And I don't have a tester myself =/

Maybe Walmart, Target or Costco? I usually pick mine up at Sears.

We had a thread about this about a month ago... Costco is your best bet man, and you can't deny their bomb *** return policy!

Costco. Unless you get an optima, you have to get a special one with reversed connectors so you arent stretching the hell out of your battery harness.

Walmart is pretty cheap too. Depending on what you get, they can be cheaper than Costco

Americas Best Battery on Mission Blvd. in Hayward.

Last one I picked up for my Stanza was ~$25.00 when giving them my old one as a core.

+1 to Costco. I think they're made by the same company as Interstate and Optima

Well, that's an additional "environmental" fee (recycling?) that they add at checkout. Other retail stores are probably doing the same thing. When you bring your old battery back they will just refund you. But they do it in a funny cool way - they have sealed envelopes with cash It could be less or more than $9 depending on the amount of that fee.

They want to see a receipt that shows you buying battery from them.
