I don't head out to the Vallejo meet, but I can ship it to you or pass it off to someone else at the Wed. meet to get it to you or meet you half way somewhere.
Yeah, I've had people sell stuff out from under me a few times too, but never when I left a deposit. That's BS and the mods should have had nothing to do with it. That is between you and the seller.

No excuse.
So I fully understand.
There is no reason that negative review should have been removed. Those are suppose to be user input. You can't censor that.
I've put NASIOC on blast a few times. I don't know how I haven't been banned. Only thing I can think of is that I've been a member for 10 years and I was a big time participant in wagon suspension tech back in the day.

It wasnt cause I said shady. I asked. He said it was because I left negative feedback period.
And secondly, ya I *could* just let it go. But why? So someone else can get screwed in the future?
Im so sick of people just rolling over about certain things. when did we as a country and nation of people in general become such whiney pussies?
Ohhhh he hurt my feelings, Im gonna sue...
Yes, i DID get my deposit back. After I had to ASK for it and even then he didnt get around to it for some time.
so if I took your deposit for a STi long block, in my case $500, and then sold it to someone else cause I was able to get more money from the other guy and then took my sweet *** time getting you your money back you would just say "thank you, have a nice day" and let it go?
Sorry, I wasnt raised like that. We all do wrong, but purposely screwing someone over isnt gonna sit well with me.

I don't know the full story. Did you tell him you'd buy it by a certain date and then didn't? Yes it was ****ed up of him to sell the block after he took your deposit on it but you got your money back so really the guy went back on his word but didn't scam you.
You don't need to be cordial with him but just chalk it up as someone you don't want to do business with. Maybe we have different viewpoints on this because Ive had customers give me deposits, then expect that I hold their car for 2 years for them until they can get the rest together.

Had he not been asked who knows if he would have said anything. And he had to be asked for the deposit.
Had he gone to jacwagon and said... hey man I found a local buyer. He paid in full... etc. Really sorry. Here's your deposit back.
I bet JAC WAGON would still have been upset but he probably would not have left any review and would have just moved on.
After hearing what I have of the story it sounds like an agreement was struck. The buyer came through... the seller did not.
That in an of itself... bad review.
