When you mod the intake, you gotta mod the jets to allow more fuel to balance out the mixture, that is one way to get a huge bog in your power curve.

The easiest thing would be to put on the stock filter and clean out all the jets and every crevase of the carb with cleaner and a rubber tip air hose.
