Post up a link to a picture or some info, and I'll pick it up for you next time I go to Akihabara. How soon do you need it?

E-mail me dude ...

Dude, Akihabara is no more special than Yodobashi Camera, or Sakuraya...They have all of the cutting edge stuff, plus you get 10% back on your point card!

Anyone going to Japan anytime soon. I am looking for this part for my laptop. It is a 12 hour battery made for the Sony Vaio PCG-U1 or U3.

Part number: PCGA-BP3U
I am. I'll be in Japan on 12/15. How much is that battery? Got to be expensive.

Uhm ... "dude" ... check my location ... I live in Japan, and yes, Akihabara is more special than Yodobashi Camera and Sakuraya. There are a lot of parts and experimental stuff that you can't find elsewhere, if you know where to look...

Well, you live in Tochigi, and you are rural. I do know that you are living in Japan. I lived in Yokohama for 4 years. I was not all that impressed with Akihabara. If you are looking for a battery, it is smartest to aquire it from your local discount electronics store. It would be a great waste to go all the way to Akihabara to get a computer battert.

Skywalker...good luck finding it for $250...that is pretty cheap. I am about to make a call for you to see if I can source it local. Wish me luck...

Hey Skywalker,

$359...2-3 weeks shipping time...

Not a bad deal...considering that it costs 35,000JPY in Japan...after a 5% Japanese sales tax, train fare, and shipping...it would be about the same...if Necromancer were to pick it up for you.

e-mail me if you are interested...

Andy
