...or bigger terminals?
usually these things go for like $150+. so i couldnt justify buying one for a weekend's work.
they look like those thing used for cutting small branches but they crimp terminal ends instead.
you will be my new BFF...
thanks.

Crimping 4g wire?? 4g is relatively small and can be crimped fairly easy.. Is this for car stereo wire? Car battery cable?
I'm not sure what your application is, or what your trying to crimp to the wire, but if you don't have a soldering iron to connect whatever it is, you can use a vise and squeeze it, or a chisel hit with a hammer can do the trick as well.. And of course you can just use a termination block which typically has an Allen headed set screw that you tighten down to secure.

00 or 2 aught or 2/0 is larger in diameter than 4awg. Do you mean 4/0awg or 0000awg?
4awg = 0.2043in = 5.189mm
00awg = 0.3648in = 9.266mm
0000awg = 0.4600 = 11.684mm
That harbor freight hydraulic one says it can do 4awg. This ratcheting one from HFT says it can to 4awg: Ratcheting Crimping Tool
Am I missing something?

I have the one from HFT and it works fine. It's also cheap with 20% coupon.

i wonder if there is still market for an "earthing" kits these days.
i remember back in 03/04 when i got my STi that the there was a booming market for these kits. sure you had the JDM kits that were like $100+ and then there were the homegrown guys who decided to make them for like half that...
lol...
right now i just wanna redo the wiring in my truck. including installing a dual battery setup with a removable battery box, like when in a campground or like that...
