anyone have the MadDad exhaust?
So, I'm looking into getting a new exhaust and stumbled onto this video of the MadDad exhaust:

It sounds pretty damn good in the video, but I was wondering if someone local has it? I'd like to hear it in person before deciding. I'm looking for something that has a lower rumble but not ridiculously louder than the stock exhaust.

i hate when they just gas it in their garage, they need to drive by the camera so we can hear some engine exhaust.
with the name MadDad youd think would be loud as hell

I just got mine in a today, i'll be putting it on on thursday when i have time , i'll get a clip for you if you'd like, or we could meet up and you could hear it. i've been waiting for this exhaust over 3 months and i've debated over this SOOOO much. i did a whole lot of research on every exhaust and this seemed to match the best, i wanted the hush but its still pretty loud with a catted dp , i love the way the Evo2 sounds but the can is too big, the stromung was too loud for me even with a catted dp ( and i heard all of these in person), so i buckled down and went in on the dual tip Whisper, a few people have gotten theirs already and they swear by it. search on Google Video's too, there's a really good video on there of an sti that sounds pretty sick ( its actually the video that sold me on the whisper). but what set me on the exhaust the most was the fact that it had a throaty boxer rumble but won't drone on the freeway. it was definitely pricey but i feel it'll be worth it, it's been tested to flow very well but at the same time keeps a close to stock look. the single tip is even quieter than the dual also, i'll try to get some vids up for you!

yeah, the first dual tip run got cut short to fulfill our groupbuy on nasioc , so Rich from Daddy's SCP is extending the twin tip for single tip pricing , which is the GB price, i say you get on it ! i think he said it'll be on for another 3 weeks, but i should have it on by Thursday night, i'll try to post a vid. here's the google vid : http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...q=maddad&hl=en

I love my hush, i have never gotten any kind of **** from cops and it's just the right amount of noise for me. I think anything less, you would get used to the noise and think it too quiet. just my 2 cents

great review, it was very helpful, but why 9.5/10 and not 10/10? from the video and the pics looks like it was perfect. i've got a stock wagon and have been debating on what exhaust to get.

i just wish it was a little louder, when i get on it the sound smooths out a whole bunch , it would be PERFECT if it still maintained throatiness. But then again everythings still new and needs to be broken in, i've had everything for about 160 miles now, i'll give it another gas tank or 2 before i really hear how it sounds. right after initial start up i did go smash on it for about 20 minutes up in the moutains, haha, very fun! the sound was great , but it sounds as if when you give it full gas the exhaust almost mutes out. awesome engineering for it to do that but like i said, kinda wish it got a tad throatier, but it does really keep the volume down. honestly what i was worried about most was the droning in the wagon, since its a big problem and i take a lot of trips, but when i'm on the freeway i barely hear it at all from the inside. let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the write up! I noticed that the exhaust seems to practically touch the bumer and is off center. Can that be adjusted, or is that how it fits? I'm pretty picky and would ideally like it to be right in the center of that semi-circle.
