I'm still confused. What is a double decker BIKE? I know what a double decker bus is... You're making me imagine a bike with another bike welded to the top.

Its a beast, I've ridden it with 100+ lb of gear on it and its totally sturdy and stable.

 

I love the word "touring", AKA a fancy word for "commuter".

not true... this specific bike (the one i own) bike was ridden from Rome, to Vienna, to Zurich with 90lb of gear (not by me).

try doing that on a ***gy hybrid commuter.

Best observation EVER! I totally didn't notice until you said something and it's my JOB to find things wrong with stuff.

I know, but the difference is really in the frame geometry, load capacity, brake ability, and gearing. That bike can handle a 230lb rider and 100lb of gear, haul it up a steep grade easily, and descend in a controlled fashion down the other side... then do it over and over and over again for 1000's of miles without parts failures.

your average road bike cant do that ****, none of my other bikes can do that
