A CARB sticker won't help you unless your parts are CARB certified.

You have the option of going to the referee and paying a reduced fine ($140ish iirc) or you can pay double the fine and not go to the ref... Either way good luck!

what do I need to do to not go just call or go and tell them? it would be a while to go back to stock

I'd double check what happens if you pay the double fine. When I got my "correctable" tint ticket...I asked about the option to pay more and not correct it. The lady said I could do that but then the next time I try to renew the registration on the car bad things would happen. I can't remember correctly.

You're going to end up going back to stock one way or another.

I say lose the stickers and go sleeper.

heres what happen when i went, they just did a visual to make sure i was stock, then just did a regular smog check, after that they sign off your ticket, which you send in with your money, also it is processed in their system via computer. Plus they give you some kind of certificate thing. I thought it was mandatory if the officer says you have to go, i could be wrong. i'd just put your car back to stock and take it there. Oh and they charge you like 40 bucks or something for the checkup.

i did have an aftermarket turbo on during the checkup
(ion performance stage 0), with red samco ic hoses, and everything else stock. They didn't seemed to mind, i don't think they knew the turbo wasn't stock though.
