Well My car is still there, It was supposed to be done two weeks ago but there seems to be a problem with the place they get transmissions from.

Sam gave me his word though that it would be done this coming week by tuesday at the latest.

I just ordered a part and the whole debacle was shady as hell.

Never got my part and had my CC company cancel the charge.

Good luck getting your car back Gunmtl. If he said tuesday he means two thursdays from now. Earlyapex is right, his word doesn't mean anything. The real shop that did my transmission (I was promised to all be done in shop, but it was all outsourced) didn't put it together right and forgot to install the interlocks so good luck!

Yeah It has been a bunch of b.s. to get my car done but I know he has seen this thread and doesn't want anymore bad press. If he doesn't come through this is gonna start getting ugly.

Well I finally got my car back yesterday. two things I noticed

1. I have some different lugs on one of my wheels. (does anyone know if there is a reason to take off wheels when replacing a tranny, clutch and fly wheel?)

2. I got this nice little shinner on my bumper.

eekk not good. I sure hope you pointed that out to them and make them pay to fix that. Way uncool if they don't own up to it but from reading and hearing stories about them they won't do anything to fix their f-up. Not sure if they had to take your wheels off or not but I would press to get my lug nuts back.

Paul brought up a good question.. have any of you gone to the bar about them? I so would if my car was ever touched by them.

Yeah I don't, know what the heck happened to my bumper, but I guess something was bound to happen after spending 4 months in a shop.

I'm just glad to have my car back, and sam did say he would get me a new bumper and have it painted for me. I'm not worried about the lugs it was just something I noticed. I am a little upset about the damage but he's gonna fix it so it's all good.

They fixed my car and I got it back, it took a long time but They did offer me a rental car. I also got tier 3 transmission when i paid for a tier 2 so I have a better warranty. anyways I'm done ranting about this experience I'll just let it die now...

sure, and you'll be back in a few months when your transmission explodes.
