I heard some crazy ****...don't know if its true, hard to believe honestly...

Some young guy purchased an Evo built motor through them and an employee had the same ride and took the built motor a customer bought and put that in his car. Then, took the stock motor from his Evo and put it in the customers car.

Just what I heard....who knows, but it sounds like bad business.

They are moving down the street to the Mitsubishi dealership now.

1. I like the latinas (especially if they are as smart as a sack of spanners)
2. I would doubt either was your type

Either way, the chicken that Walt cooked up was mighty fine

nah, Ray has an Evo X. The motor in question was for an Evo IX, I believe, but I don't know if its true. It didnt happen while I was there, but it could have happened before or after me.

There are a lot of verified good shops in the bay area to trust one with a shady reputation.

What are you having done?

HORRIBLE shop. DO NOT go there. They had my car for 12 weeks total and was lied to the whole time on what exactly was done. My work was promised to be done in shop but found out it was all outsourced and they doubled the price on me.

Rau, you were very helpful and thanks for the ride to the BART that day but that owner is a snake looking to rob us car guys. Sorry.

The parts manager at Steven's Creek is an i-club geezer (unit91 aka Ryan) and he is a great resource.

I've bought some things from their parts department recently and it's a breath of fresh air to have a fellow suby guy hooking us up, very unlike other parts departments.

If you need parts or advice give them a call and ask for Ryan. Tell him the secret phrase "I've recently greased my bushings" and he will sort you out.

No problem. I tried my best to turn that shop's image around, but I was undercut from the inside. As far as the 12 weeks and the work done, that was all Sam. I had no part in telling customers the status of their work, nor did I want to get my hands dirty with their practices. A lot of shady things went down........

Are they letting the customers know?

Is walt still there or did he find himself a real job at a good shop?

And no, M4 has nothing to do with SCS, ive had nothing but good happen over at SCS.
