Anyone got old computer ram laying around?

Hey guys, I'm using a computer at work that is extremely slow, but they do not want to upgrade since I am only working there temporarily and no one else uses the computer. I just need some more DDR SDRAM, PC2700, but any type of DDR SDRAM 184 pin. I'll take a try. It's for an old Dell Dimesion 2400. If anyone has them laying around their computer parts bin and don't want them, I would love to get them from you. Thanks!

People on craigslist are jacking up the prices for these, and it's not worth the money they charge to upgrade the computer. Just because amazon and best buy charges 90 for a 2 gig DDR SDRAM doesn't mean they can too.

What are you looking to pay for a 1gb? I have like 2 of these. Let me know if you're interested - I'm in the city during the week in SOMA.

When I had a super old Dell, if I took out any of the "stock" RAM, it wouldn't post until I put the stock ones back in. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you. Also, what OS are you running, since unless it's running Vista, 2gb should be fine.
