Anyone familar with registering green sticker for off road dirtbike use?
Hello, I did not use my yz 125 for quite a while, and the registration for the thing has lapsed. Last time I was there they said it was 250, is it a like a car where now it will be like 500? This seems lame, what if your motorcycle isn't running. If this is the case then shouldnt I be able to reg it non op or something?
I really need to register it b/c I never switched the title over and they wouldn't let me do it w/o paying the reg at the time for 250 which I didn't have. Thanks

a non-op would probably be your best bet. Are you wondering about off road use only stickers?
The registration increase is the vehicle licensing fee. Check your registration, find the VLF fee amount, and double it, then add the remainder of the assorted fees. That is how it works for regular street vehicles

It's a older yz 2 stroke so it can obtain the green sticker (have expired one) for riding in parks etc, but it can't be registered for the street. Thats why I didn't understand why it was even 250 to start. Is there a non op for this type of off road vehicle?

I just paid the reg. on my 3 bikes I have and they charged me about 50 per reg... I don't recall there being a non op for them but I don't see why they wouldn't. Also I remember when my girl didn't pay for her registration for a year they charged her double the amount the next year...
Not sure how she got away with it for that long either
