Anyone ever use those T-Mobile Hotspots

I'm going back to NY and DC for like 9 days and don't want to be stuck internetless for that long. Does anyone have any experience with these? Or can anyone suggest an alternative, just looking for something to log on for a few minutes each day to check ****, and u/l some pictures. Looks like T-Mobiles pricing struture sucks *** though, either $40 for a month or $.10 per minutes 60 minutes minimum per session.

they have those free day passes so that you can "try" at borders here by UCKK. I dont know how it is over there though, worth a shot. Just keep asking =P

Just bring a wireless card, there will be plently of open wireless networks in NY & DC

Or just stay in a decent hotel that has free highspeed or wireless.

Most do, even Holiday Inns.

Yeah, any dense urban area will have tons of open Wireless APs......I'm sitting in Menlo Park, near Willow Rd and 101, and I can detect about 8 at any given time, most open (That's what I'm using right now). Check out
netstumbler.com, that's what will show you what's out there....doesnt work with all wifi cards.
I was in downtown DC last summer, near the new Convention center, couple nice free connections around there.
