No need to get wound up - this is a discussion board, there will be differing points of view.

I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Consumers... running and killing people over a $300 laptop and some stupid toy...

I'm surprised it doesn't happen at Wal*Mart all year round. That place is a zoo.

I think this says what I am trying to say better (along with all the other NEWS out there and such): http://gizmodo.com/5098946/10-reason...friday-edition

If you want to take it all out of perspective, then yeah. It's only "undignified" and "sleazy" if you want it to be. How indecorous is it to stand in a line, grab a box, and swipe a card because something has a one time discount? It's no less degrading than meeting twice a year with family members you hate and gorging on turkey and ham just because it's called the holidays.

I'm not wound up, I just think it's a very negative view to have for something people do at a much lesser extent during the rest of the year.

Take it all out of perspective...? Listen - this is my perspective. I am trying to help by showing you where I am coming from for some reason. I think we are probably misunderstanding each other. I am not being irrational here. I guess I feel like I should not have tried.

Your usage of the word "indecorous" drives home the misunderstanding or something here. It's almost 180 degrees from that, in fact it's MY point of view that is seen as indecorous here and THAT is the problem. The fact that you are telling me that I am getting unreasonably upset about someone who would simply and innocently "stand in a line, grab a box, and swipe a card because something has a one time discount." It is painfully obvious that is not at all what I am talking about. Have you seen any of the news lately? Do you think it is normal and good for people to kill to get into WalMart for a sale? Because it seems that you think this sort of thing is normal and my disdain for such is irregular. There is a pretty serious problem there.

Normal good people don't shop at walmart.
