My mom introduced me to Pandora just over a year ago... been addicted ever since.

BTW, you can finish off the month (if you go over 40 hrs before it's over) by paying 99 cents. I just pay it... it's DOLLAR. I go over most months, but not all, so that's less than $12 a yr which is about the cost of a CD. I think it's a fair trade.

One of my fav stations is Sneaker Pimps, and I think I added Hooverphonic and Massive Attack for variety. Good studying/ mellow-out music.

Pandora's kinda lame unless you listen to a lot of mainstream music -- which I don't. I listen to many online radio stations and I have an app on my G1 called internet radio which has like 1000 radio channels.

I love Pandora... I've found that if you put in more obscure music in, you get more obscure music out.

Have the app for my G1 and it's badass

Does anyone else find it terribly jarring to have a commercial blast you at the end of a song? Or have they stopped that?

I was listening to some soundtracks, which are typically played at low levels. All of a sudden, I get blasted at high levels about Chevy Truck Month... scared the crap outta me, lol.

That happens to me when I listen to the chill station on Slacker. Then a loud Wendy's commercial comes on and then a commercial promoting the paid version of Slacker that removes the commercials and has unlimited song skip.

And best of all Slacker doesn't have any limits on how long you can listen for.

Slacker also offers a Portable device that you can get and you can listen to Slacker radio like you would on an .mp3 player.
easier interface to figure out? Pandora has a box where you type in a song or artist and it starts playing music, how much easier can it get?

and regardless of the 40hr cap, we're just lucky we can get it here at all, the sites blocked in England.
