Anyone else having trouble dowloading iphone 3.0

Itunes says the software downloaded but can not update my phone because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.

it might be because everyone is trying to do it at the same time and their server is overloaded

download wasnt an issue.

took about 20 seconds.

now apple's servers are getting hammered...
