Uuummm...Chernobyl disaster happened in 1986, when Ukraine was still under the USSR umbrella. The fallout from the disaster drifted into and affected many of the neighboring Soviet and European countries, not just Ukraine. Soooo, there is nothing really wrong with my wording...

Yups, but more like the very end of 1991. That's when USSR officially dissolved and all of the countries declared their independence. I am too lazy to Google the exact dates and facts
This dodgey Russian's senses are much more guided by presence of money and nice material possessions Must be the Jew in me and having to scrape by for such a long time with bare minimums

I always like this quote about Ukrainians that my Senior class English teacher said.
"Ukrainians are like the Texas of Russia. They think they can fight harder, learn quicker, and **** better than any Eastern European."
Yeah. That sums it up about right.

Ummm, I think Russians should be one of the last people to be mocked when it comes to pugilism...
Oh, and to keep this post on topic...
Q: How do you it's a Russian firing squad?
A: They're standing in a circle!
*ba-doom-pisssh!*
