any traxxas REVO owners???
i'm having issues with a recently acquired revo.
the glow plug aint glowing.
either the plug is bad or the plug wire is broken.
i connected an older glow plug igniter but not sure if that's the correct one...

diesel's have glow plugs too i believe.
Umm most likely your glow plug is shot, or u need a new battery for that ... thingy that heats the plug (what is it called? It's been years since i've messed with one).
EDIT: Igniter, there u go... ?

I've got one. If your using the starter that came with it, it sucks. I had two units go out on me. I went out and bought a D-Cell igniter and a pull start and now I have no problems. Try this, pull the glow plug out and put it on the igniter. If it glows a bright orange, then it's fine. If not, either the batter is low or the plug is bad. Btw, if you've flooded the motor, the fuel can ruin a good plug pretty fast.

What he said... test the plug... it should glow orange hot. watch the fingers.. it's HOT.
Sometimes you flood it and it won't start.... if the plug is wet when you pull it out, it's flooded for sure. crank it over a few times without the plug to clear it out.
Has it ever run since you had it? The tuning might be way off and just need to go back to defaults to get it to fire, then tune it from there. From what I have seen, the traxxas motors are pretty finicky. I don't liek them much.. but it should still run.

was out bashing mine this weekend. watch out for large rocks during full speed runs. All I can say is I've never seen an RC do so many end over ends. But, all I need to change is the right front lower control arm. It broke in two.

finally got a chance to break it in last nite around 10pm... lol...
last tank for break requires full speed passes for 5 sec!
dang... my previous cars were electrics and a 1/10 scale nitro 4wd buggy...
but this motherf***** is f'ing fast!
hit a small break in the street and WHAM! it's up in the air...
fortunately, a LHS stocks up on revo parts... lol....
