H1 is the normal bulb (low beam)

9007 is the hibeams (which you probably rarely use)

the jdm/edm bugeye headlights use H1 bulbs for lowbeam.
9007 is for the usdm bugeye headlights.

on sylvania.com, it says 9007 because it assumes you have a stock usdm headlight.

JDM's do look good. You can always adjust the headlight cut-off down a bit on the driver side to avoid blinding others.

For sure...it's ghetto...but it works if you can't wait to do it right.

I have EDMs and I have caesar's hid kit 5000k running off the stock projectors, not tsx or s2k ones. Also did the EDM mod to get more light output on the ground.
I have to say overall, I am pretty satisfied with this setup. No way it is close to being as sharp as the s2k or even tsx projectors, but they are still very bright and the cutoff is still crisp.
Would recommend this to anyone who does not want to spend $500 on a retrofit job.

Its not that big of a deal.... It's your car, put whatever you want on it. Ive seen many wrx's with hid kits in the halogen reflector housings and it doesnt look bad at all. Im not **** about crap like that and that's another reason i haven't gotten a retrofit yet either.

Reflection isn't bad at all and the output is in my opinion better than stock. just my .02 cents.....

do a tsx retrofit. or a s2k if you have the money. you will be happy with it.
dont put hid's into a halogen specific projector.
