anyone know of any resorts opening this weekend? my friend from socal was saying they'll have a mountain open in 2 days, so tahoe should be soon too, right?

 

keep an eye on Boreal. They are always the first.

Best post I've seen all summer!!!! It will be a little bit before the lifts start turning. The last storm was a good one, but they need that magic 28degF to start making snow and building the base for the fresh pow-pow.

 

If it stays cold and we get another storm or three, we should be treated to very nice early season conditions! I just hope we don't get a heat wave...

 

word...last year we got early season then it all got melted, and I was sad

 

yeah hopefully we have a very good season this year. its suppose to be another el nino this year so we shall se how it goes!!! cant wait to go boarding!!!

Another storm is due in Sat night/Sun morning and I hear boreal will open 1 lift. I don't if it's worth fighting lines for 1 lift.
