Yeah, there are plenty of ranges in the bay area... Reeds Indoor Range is the best pistol range hands down.

Los Altos Rod and Gun club is probably the best outdoor range in this area.

Man, I need to hit that up. I haven't shot a gun in a looong time and just gave everything I had to my family (S&W .38, S&W .45, Win 30-30, Ithaca 12g). Only problem is, I don't really know a person these days that would roll with me. Meet?

I just shot at Sunnyvale rod and gun club. Its pretty good. Got some good shots off with the M1 Garand I've been wanting to shoot for years. 30 .06 ftw!

guess you've never been to the hayward PD private range... :evil smilie:

sometimes free ammo... very lax rules (just dont shoot any humans)... 1 inch to 100 meters lanes... fire as fast as you can... setup any target you wanna shoot at (just clean up after yourself...) nite shooting...

just harder than heck to get into though... LOLLLLLLLLLL

However, my trips to the national forest = best range EVER. Did someone say exploding targets!?
