any one who plans to be in or around concord thursday, tomarrow

Tomorrow, the Concord Police will be conducting what they call a "saturation enforcement" traffic operation.

Lt. Steve Dyer says CPD Officers will be all over Clayton Road, from downtown to Ygnacio Valley Road, and many major roads in between looking for speeding drivers, red light runners and other people who disobey the law....

Our officers will watch for seatbelt and cell phone violations as well as red light runners and overly aggressive drivers.

The best way to avoid a ticket is to buckle up your seat belt, hang up the phone, and focus on safe driving.

The Concord Police Department conducts special traffic enforcement operations regularly to calm traffic and reduce injury collisions caused by unsafe driving.

Thanks to Lt. Steve Dyer for the information you provided!

Having all the cops out actually causes more traffic and people to be dumberer... When they see a cop they just forget how to drive and focus on avaoiding them and going 10 under the speed limit and things of that nature thus causing more traffic. Again this is just my opinion and observation based on past experiences.

Its even better when your the one driving a patrol car.

Your like... WTF.. You just cut me off 10 mins on my way to work, Now you want to drive all nice... lol

Or rolling code to a call and having people fail to yeild and then slow down as they think they are about to get a speeding ticket for .236 over the posted limit.
