Any musicians fitting big amps/cabinets in their sedans?
I'm in the market for a new, bigger cabinet (4x10?) and am wondering what I can fit in my car. So far I've had success fitting a 1x15 (not sure of the dimensions, think ~23x23x18) and a 2x10 combo of similar size. I usually have an easier time getting stuff into the back seat.
Have any of you guys with sedans had luck fitting big amps in there? If so which models? Also, if any wagon guys have fit amps in their back seat I'd like to hear about it. I remember there was a thread about fitting big stuff in WRXs at one point, but I don't remember seeing any big amps. Your help is appreciated.

I specifically bought a Carvin BRX 2x10 because it fits in the trunk of my 04 Sti
A 4x10 ain't happening in these cars... hell some 2x10's don't fit
BUT I can say 1st hand the Carvin BRX Neo fits and moves more air than you are going to need in 95% of the situations you come across

I have a SWR super redhead 2x10 and it won't fit anywhere in my 06 STi. Thinking of getting a mark bass 12" combo and using my Sansamp bass driver for the church gigs I play - don't really need the 2x10 for the stage volume I require.

I have an 02 WRX wagon and am able to fit a Marshall 1960A 4x12 in the trunk, but only if I fold down the seats. I haven't tried but I can't imagine having an easy time trying to stuff that thing in the back seat

The problem with the sedans is that the trunk lid opening isn't very deep. The actual trunk cavity is quite large, but you have to get something through the opening first.
I've put other amps in the front seat and belted them in, but have found the back doors to be too narrow for a lot of stuff.
Kinda odd considering I could fit a 1x15 Amp, an upright bass AND another person in my old '83 GTI

I miss my fozzy, I could fit a full drumset in the back with the back seats up still LOL.. I can fit 4x12 etc in my wagon but I have to fold the seat down.... If your hauling gear frequently I would recommend trading for a forester, legacy/wrx wagon. Sedans suck for hauling gear!

I've definitely fit a twin reverb and a 212 fender hotrod in my back seat before -- in case any guitar players are referencing this thread. The hot rod is about as tall and wide as many 212 bass cabs, but it's not very deep. In my experience, the depth is the limiting factor, as it makes it impossible to get the thing through the door opening.
