I'm looking for a local shop, preferably in the San Jose area, that does transmission work under an extended warranty.

You should check out Gruppe-S, heard they had some killer deals!

Hey Karl, funny that I just heard a radio commercial today saying that AAMCO takes extended warranties. You could also see if GB Motorsports, AutoHQ, or Method 4 / FIA would accept warranty work.

Thanks for the input guys! I could try AAMCO or Made in Japan. The car is covered under Easy Care from Ford.

I bought the car used at Placerville Ford. It's a powertrain warranty.
