any guitar players in the heezy? i broke a tuning ****
so im kind of a beginner guitar player, so i dont know where to go to get my isht fixed. one of my tuning ***** came loose, the screws stripped from the wood. could guitar center fix that? i guess i'd have to use larger screws w/ a different ****, or just drill in a different location w/ the same ****. what does one do?

yin,
i would get that looked at by a professional (if the guitar is worth it). If this is your starter\first\cheap guitar, i guess you could try to fix it yourself. But, if you were to try redrilling in a different place on the headstock, you run the definite risk of either making a big crack surrounding the area where you drill the hole, or making the headstock weak enough that it'll just snap under all the string tension. Also, if you were to relocate the tuner, it wouldn't line up correctly with the nut and it wouldn't stay intonated very long. either way, i'm pretty sure someone at a guitar center could look at it for you, maybe fill the holes and replace the tuner. anywho, good luck man

The holes will need to be filled.
As others have said, I wouldn't let anyone at Banjo-Depot (er, Guitar Center) work on a quitar that I cared about even a little bit.
Go with one of the other recomended places, or go find the closest decent luthier to where you live.
What kind of guitar is it, BTW?
