How serious of install are you looking for? Just a head unit? Speakers? Amps and Subs?

yes...race and rock sucks. It was awesome when it was owned by those two rich white dudes from discovery bay. But once they sold and moved on it's just gone down hill every year.

Also avoid Pacific Stereo in Fremont..off albrae. They are worse. They do crappy work and they don't own up to their mistakes. On top of that they are scammers. Twice I had the wrong speakers put in my doors and was not informed. I paid for top of the line JL 6.5 back in the day and was getting mid range 5.25's. Rediculous. On top of that they broke my window and wouldn't pay for it. Blew my amp and wouldn't pay for it and said my speakers were blown when they were not. Then forced me to pay $86 in shipping to get the Amp and Speakers sent to the factory and replaced....and I had to wait with no freaking stereo in my car until they came back.

Stereo City can be pretty shady too.

I think I have hit up every crappy stereo place in fremont.

I won't even need to recommend you anyone cause there are three places that you'll get over and over. Do a search under my name...I just asked this question a couple weeks ago.

 

well...I'm not a sound person, I just wanna get a navi in my car, so I can go anywhere without getting lost... that will be all...

I agree. I used to work for stereo city in fremont, there ok. Do not go to pacific stereo. But Sound innovations is awesome.

If your willing to drive 15mins, I suggest Ultimate Car Toys in Pleasanton. A bit overpriced, but you can bargain with them.

Stereo City is ok if you drop $3K and like having a system that falls apart within 2 weeks, and stops working altogether within 2 months

 

Or like having a system stolen out of your car and having it show up on their show room floor. Then pulling your alarm out of one car to put it in another to find out some of the sensors are not plugged into the alarm.
