Wow, I was honestly thinking that everyone would try talking me into keeping and fixing. Just the opposite, everyone is suggesting to dump it. Hmmm it's a really hard choice. I want to give Mike the chance with the "Warfield spec" motor. He did tell me that if he could build it his way he'd warranty it. We haven't drafted this warranty yet, but let it be known, I don't EVER want to have to use this warranty. So here is the way it looks: Remove the 2.5L short block, bore it over, drop some coated JE pistons and rings, scrap the heads, replace them with a different set that's been rebuilt. In addition a further investigation into the crank case ventalation/breathers. I am thinking about this more and more. The changes that I have made to the intake, SPT/APS turbo inlet, neither of which have been installed for that long, could possibly be creating such a low differential in the intake that maybe there just isn't enough suction to evacuate the crank case. Does it even work like this? One thing is for sure, I won't be putting the catch cans back in until I drill them out and retap them with a larger hose barb that matches the OEM hose. The setup I was using reduced from 1/2"OEM to 3/8" aftermarket. It did this on both sources, PCV, and head vents. I still doubt that this is the problem but, it's time to go in a new direction.

trust in Mike, he's never lead me the wrong way.
rebuild it, and put in piece by piece, checking each thing to make sure. New heads sounds like a good idea too since that seems to be one of the constant things...

What he meant to say was:
Since you've already put so much into it, you might as well (NOT minus well) fix it again.
