Your post only makes you look bad.

You are talking about an orange jacket i have, which has no patches or anything on it. It's an REI E-vent rain jacket that people have only seen me wear a few times. which i've only worn when it's raining outside.
I actually have like 6 different jackets in my vehicle.
Lots of people have a jacket that they wear depending on conditions. and they are seen to wear the same jacket again and again. Not sure why i'm zero'd out from a massive crowed who do this.

Really odd that you are going off the handle in such a way. It really makes you look bad right now.

oh well

I have no clue. He's pulling stuff out that has nothing to do here at all. He's obviously mad that i've worn a rain jacket in the rain a few times.
Really odd behavior. I mean, somebody getting mad because somebody wears a rain jacket? lol

AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND back to event planning. That means everybody - let's drop personal stuff and concentrate on meet specifics.

Roo, Glen, thanks for stepping up to help out here.

For other people who may feel singled out - doing this stuff with 18 different options is a nightmare - it's not personal and it's not directed at the minority with real reasons for not doing food. NOONE wants to be food police and do wristbands and line checks and all that separate from admission (which is hard enough on its own), and for every person that has a dietary restriction that they work around themselves, there's 5 guys who will say "no, I don't want a food ticket", and then come up going "I can sneak a burger, right? C'mon, dawg. We hongry".

IMO (and doesn't mean I'm right), flat fee gets you in, and gets you the food planned for by looking at gross numbers - it's one of the only ways to easily do a large event like this, run by volunteers who are just trying to do something nice for the community.

Gotta love how BAM brings out the best (and worst) in so many BAIC'ers.

I've never been against an entry fee, but I do hope that the ugly tradition of people wasting food ends for good this year. Every year we see burgers and dogs in the trash, and every year we see paying i-Clubbers left without food while some douchnozzles toss away perfectly good food. I know it's impossible to enforce these things, but I really would like to see the honor return the honor system of BAM eats.
