^ that is a whole nother issue. i dont get why Israel wont concede some of the land to get Palestine off their backs? Do they just not want to go out like that?

aye, when i posted the "glass desert" statement - i meant it, drenched in resignation and hopelessness. I can't pretend to know how to fix everything, nor recognize everything that is wrong with both of our cultures. Lets just hope this fire burns itself out and does'nt take all of us with it.

you are right, it IS a whole 'nother issue.
there is a land for the "palestinians", it's called JORDAN.
Israel is actually offering some land to these people, and they are refusing, holding out for the whole of Israel.
Fortunately, we will never, ever, let that happen.
And that is why we are so cohesively strong!
So, no, to answer your question, we won't go out like that...

Why can't the israelis all move to south dakota. It's actually quite pretty there. Or maybe Idaho? Thats a nice place too, much better than the dusty, hot wasteland of israel.....Oh wait, cause its "holy" - well jeez. too bad...some good fishin in idaho too.

there are plenty of free countries in this world (beyond Israel and the US). you dont need to be a full-blown patriot to live here. you've got to check out Henry Ford and his visions of a grand (and homogenous) America...

Seriously, if you want to give a **** about israel and how they run things, put yourself in their shoes i bet all the citizens there wish they could be saying all the things we are saying without being worried about getting shot or even worse beheaded. We have it so easy here we all (and you know that we do) take it for granted, just be happy you can walk around wherever and say what you want to whenever you want to to whomever without having to worry about your head rolling around on the floor....
