Amp/Speaker installation how-to

Hello thar, me again.

Has anyone seen an amp/speaker installation guide for an 06 type suby?

This may sound erally stupid but i can't figure out how to pop off a lot of
the paneling in the dash and in the doors in order to get stuff wired up.

I suppose i could just get best buy or something to install these speakers but...
I like to do stuff myself or at least be present just so i know how to fix my own things when stuff happens.

thanks,
Ebolamonkey

The doors is mostly like 2 screws and then you have to pull the ring that is around the door handle off. Then the door panel just pops off. I'm not sure if the '06 dash is the same as the '02's. Have you searched on NASIOC? As much as I hate the site, it's got a lot of info on it.

I've worked on plenty of cars when i did auto installs but never a subaru. Found a couple of links that should help: for the deck and for the doors let me know if this helps

so you want to hook up an amp to power the door speakers? it should be a bit easier with an aftermarket deck since it should have rca outs... just need to know if you have a 4 channel amp to power all 4 speakers or just 2 channel to power the fronts and how many rca outputs you have on the deck. then you can either wire up new wires from the amp to the speakers or do the lazy way and wire up the amp to the aftermarket harness on the side towards the harness to the car for the speakers and leave the wires to the deck disconnected.

I believe the wire colors for the back of the head unit is all the same from the earlier years til 08
