South Bay RC Tracks.

On-Road
http://www.rams-rc.com/ They meet out at Mission Collage and race on Sunday's. They are seriously hard core bunch of guys but well worth it.

Off-Road
We used to have a small track in Sunnyvale but it was shut down. Right now the only tracks that I know of are one being run by the owner of RC Unlimited in Morgan Hill. The other is Delta RC out in Antioch. http://www.deltarc.com/.
Delta Rc is a very active track, and worth the drive.

I am trying to find land in the south bay where we can build a track. I have been talking to the folks at RAMS-RC and they are also interested in finding a perminant home. Right now the problem is land. It is hard to find and expensive to rent. I hope to get something going but it may be a while.

If you're willing to travel, there are many on-road ELECTRIC tracks around the Sacramento/Roseville, such as Speedworld R/C and some electric indoor carpet tracks as well.

Talking

Yeah unfortunately I don't know of many on road tracks. We are seriously lacking in track space here in the bay area.
BTW:
There is a race going on on October 1st and 2nd up in Sacremento.
Here is the info.
Rescue Mini R/C Speedway will be having it's annual big race, the 8th Annual Harvest Classic, on October 1st and 2nd.

This year's track was designed by recently retired, 2 time world champion Matt Francis!

You can find out more information about the event and the track at www.rescuerc.com. You can also sign-up on-line on the website, although payments will still need to be sent in by mail.

Entry deadline is September 15th. All entries received by Sept 15th will receive an event T-Shirt. Both gas and electric classes are slated to be run. Classes include: Sportsman and Expert Gas Truck, Sportsman and Expert 1/8th Scale, Stock Truck and Bugggy, Modified Truck and Buggy, 19 Turn Truck, Production Monster Truck, Unlimited Monster Truck (Truggy), and Mini-T.

We have made arrangements for special rates with a local motel. See www.rescuerc.com for details.

So...Don't procrastinate! Don't miss this event! This is, by far, the biggest race in Northern California every year.
